ABC Toys Banner Ad (SPEC)

The Client

ABC Toys is a company that sells educational toys for babies and children. These toys are specifically designed to increase intellectual abilities while maintaining fun and engagement for children. The client’s brand voice is friendly, fun, and promotional.

The TASK

This Creative Brief asked for a dynamic banner ad with three frames that loop three times before finally stopping on the last frame. Clicking on any of the three ads would take the user to specific product listings on the website. The goal of this task is for the audience to visit the ABC Toys website.

The Approach

I carried out market research to identify the target audience: parents ages 25-35 with children ages 6 months-4 years old. These parents are particularly concerned with ensuring that their children receive every opportunity to develop their minds at a young age in order to foster future success.

When writing copy for this banner ad, I maintained a friendly, inviting tone while developing the notion that these toys would set each child up for future success. My goal was for the audience to feel they are making the right choice in finding these toys that will both let their kids engage in purposeful play, while also evoking the reassurance that they will be building the cognitive capacities to be successful in future life paths.

The aim was to engage parents to click through to the website and increase the visitor rate, overall.
